    French and Indian War Beginning
    George Washington and his his militia attacked the french. The French counter-attacked until Washington surrendered.
  • French and Indian War Middle

    French and Indian War Middle
    Edward Braddock with the aide of George Washington followed by 1500 British Troops marched to Fort Duquesne. The French and the Indians ambushed the British Troops and caught them by surprise of their barbaric tactics. The British Troops fled.
  • French and Indian War End

    The King of Britain was disappointed of the failures of the war so far so he appointed new leaders such as William Pitt. With William Pitt's control over the Britain army, England began to win and it was the turning point of the war.
  • Proclamation of 1763

    Britain finally won the French and Indian War and to make it official, the french signed the Treaty of Paris. The Proclamation stated that Britain has control over all north america, east of the Mississippi River.
  • Boston Tea Party

    The British East India Company that held an monopoly on tea imports was bankrupted from the colonial boycotting. A man name Freddrick North devised a plan to sell colonists tea free of tax that tea sellers had to pay. Enraged by this news, colonists in the middle of the Night dressed up as Indians and dumped 18,000 pounds of tea into the sea.
  • Sugar Act

    Sugar Act
    Not only was Britain already in debt from the French and Indian War, the King sent over 10,000 British soldiers to guard the Appalachian Mountains. The soldiers weren't cheap so The King hired George Greenville who was a financial expert to be the prime minister. Greenville prompted the Parliament to pass the Sugar Act that halved the duty of foreign made molasses, placed duties on certain imports and strengthen law enforcement.

    On a winter afternoon in America, colonists were teasing Britain soldiers by throwing them snowballs. The soldier reacted as an assault and charge with open fire on colonists. 4 colonists died that night.
  • Intolerable Acts

    King George enraged by this rebellion from the colonists, the Parliament sent the colonists the Intolerable Acts. One of these laws shut down the Boston Harbor. Another gave Britain soldiers to live in vacant houses or private homes.

    After the set of the Intolerable Acts, some of the colonists had enough and decided to gather in Philadelphia that drew up a Declaration of Rights.
  • The Battle of Lexington and Concord

    The Battle of Lexington and Concord
    This battle is the first battle that ignites the start of the Revolutionary War. General Gage and his troops marched to Lexington to confiscate rumored firearms. They were slaughtered by 3000-4000 minuteman waiting for the divided army. Today was a victory for America.
