Iroquois Confederacy is Created
Iroquios Confederacy is formed out of the Mohawk, Onondaga, Cayuga, Oneida, and Seneca tribes. It was the oldest democracy in the world. (No one knows the exact date so this is a guess) -

New France is Founded
The first European colony in Canada, New France, is created by the French Empire. It will eventually turn into Quebec. -
Beaver Wars Begin
The Iroquois Confederacy, supported by England, went to war with the French colonies and aboriginal tribes that traded fur with them. The biggest were the Huron and Algonquin. -
Acadia is Founded
The second French colony in Canada is founded in the maritimes. It is called Acadia. -

The first British colonies in North America, called the Thirteen Colonies, are founded on the east coast of what is now the USA. -

As part of the Beaver Wars the Iriquois wiped out everyone in Huronia. They were able to because the English sold them guns but the French refused to give weapons to the Huron. -
Beaver Wars End
The beaver wars end after almost 100 years with the Treaty of Great Peace between Britian, France, and the Iriquois.
