  • Music Video Remake

    I learned how to produce varied shots similar to a music video already created (intertextuality).
    I learned how to cut footage on Final Cut Pro in order to create Base Tracks.
    I learned how to use the costume of the artist to create the styling and genre of the music video - Mise en Scene is very important.

  • Thriller film OPENING

    Learned how to use effects such as Transisitions on Final Cut Pro in particular Fade in and out.
    We learned ho to add text in different scenes of our footage in order to inform the audience of the actors and the titles.
    We used Sound Track Pro to add in sound effects - I learned how to develop skills and import sound.
    I learned how to film different shot types from different angles using the JVC and how they portray the character in a differnt light for example, High angle conveys innocence.

  • Prelim Clip

    We based our Prelim Clip on a 'Soap Opera'
    We learned how to film match cuts by using close ups of actions when filming using the JVC.
    We developed our Camera skills - this was great practie before filming (Pre Production)
    We added Dramatic sound using SoundTrack Pro - We imported it to Final Cut Pro and played it over our footage.

  • Research of Conventions of Film Openings

    I learnt the importance of setting and location in Film Openings.
    I learned research skills by using Safari on the iMacs.
    I learned how to embed YouTube videos onto a Blog post to convery the ideas i was portarying.

  • Resevoir Dogs Remake

    I learned editing skills such as layering by using Final Cut Pro.
    I learned how to use the JVC and film different type of shotssuch as a Medium Close Up & Wide Shots.
    I learned how to use SoundTrack Pro by playing music over our footage.
    I learned how to add text to different scenes of our footage to follow the conventions of the trailer we where remaking.

  • Lip Sync Tutorial

    I learned how to cut the footage in time with the sound track so that the lip syncing is in time with the music.
    I learned how to cut the footage to make it easier to edit (Base tracks).
    I learned how to place the Sound Track into Final Cut Pro to allow importation of the music.

  • Music Video - ADDi+ion

    I learned how to perform like a real media artist by adding in hand gestures similar to those of Jessie Js.
    I learned how to create costume and styling of the artist in order to fit our chosen Genre that is house/dubstep. It really helped the audience to distinguish the artists' genre.
    I learned how to montage edit in time with the bass of our song choice, it adding in more visual entertainment for the audience and linked to the genre very well.
