Alfred Wegener the German Meteorologist and geophysicist stated that all the continents were once joined to create a supercontinent called Pangea. Wegener believed that Pangeas parts drfited thousands of miles apart over vast periods of time , a phenomenon he quoted "Contiental Drift". -
