    Pierce the Veil (formerly Before Today) is composed of Vic Fuentes (Vocals and guitar), Jaime Preciado (Bass), Tony Perry (Guitar), and Mike Fuentes (Drums), with the name coming from the phrase piercing the veil (destroying the root of a problem)
  • A Flair for the Dramatic

    A Flair for the Dramatic
    On June 26, 2007, Pierce the Veil's first album, "A Flair for the Dramatic," (which was only recorded by Vic and Mike Fuentes) released. It featured songs like Yeah Boy and Doll Face and Chemical Kids and Mechanical Brides which had a more or less vintage style to them. It was largely successful and gave the band a great start.

    Tony Perry and Jaime Preciado
    Later in 2006, (no exact date released) Tony and Jaime joined Pierce the Veil, and the band toured vigorously for 3 months.

    Caraphernelia was the first single from Selfish Machines. Caraphernelia is a made up word used when someone in a relationship runs away, leaving behind their belongings. It also featured guest vocalst, Jeremy McKinnon of A Day to Remember.

    On June 21 2010, Pierce the Veil released their second album, Selfish Machines. The album received praise, but criticism due to use of autotune, Still, the album has tracks being played live to this day.
  • Bulletproof Love

    Bulletproof Love is one of the most famous Pierce the Veil songs, and it received a video on July 10, 2012. The song is about lead singer, Vic Fuentes, being cheated on in a relationship.

    One of the most well known Pierce the Veil songs is King for a Day, the first of 3 singles from Collide With the Sky. The song features Kellin Quinn of Sleeping With Sirens as a guest.

    The second single from Collide with the Sky was written for a girl who killed herself and her story really resonated with Vic, so he dedicated the song to her. (It also inspired the name of the song Hold On Til May, referring to her date of suicide)

    Collide with the Sky was yet another album met with critical acclaim. It has fan favorites and was given a ton of meaning. It is the most successful PTV album so far.

    Shortly after CWTS released, Pierce the Veil toured with Sleeping With Sirens, Hands Like Houses, and Tonight Alive.

    Hell Above
    The third and final single for CWTS was written about losing a relationship and home feeling like hell.

    In 2013 Pierce the Veil had attended Soundwave in Australia, a large music festival. The show went well at first, but the band was shut down for an unknown reason. Later, they found out Metallica said they were too loud and shut down every band besides Metallica.

    Pierce the Veil released a documentary talking about formation and everything up to CWTS
  • World Tour

    World Tour
    After the CWTS tour, Pierce the Veil joined by Sleeping With Sirens, Beartooth, and This Wild Life, went on a world tour.

    On May 13, 2016 Pierce the Veil released their 4th and most recent album, Misadventures, immediately following it up with a tour named after the album.
  • The Made to Destroy Tour

    The Made to Destroy Tour
    On July 19, 2016, during the Misadventures tour, Pierce the Veil announced another tour with Neck Deep and I Prevail right after called "The Made to Destroy Tour," named after a line in the song Sambuka.
