Air Midwest Flight 5481 Crash
While this plane crash specifically did not have an impact on my life, this combined with the 9/11 attacks caused a massive decrease in air travel which did impact my life. As a result of air travel falling out of favor my father, an aerospace engineer, was laid off from his work in Oregon prompting us to move to Michigan where I spent almost all of my youth. -

Took Intro to Computer Science
Taking Computer Science this year really exposed me to a passion I did not know I had. Since I took Computer Science I have taken great interest in coding and it has actually persuaded me to go into Software Engineering when I grow up. While the class was easy and I did not learn everything I need from it, it sparked my interest for coding and is likely an event I can look back on in the future as the start of something.
