    Mexican - American War

    Mexico claime that most of Texas was their territory.Then Mexico announce that they were ready to go to war to defeant their territory. The war ended on 1848 in Guadalupe Hidalgo. In the treadty Mexica agree that the rio grande could be the boundary.Mexico also ceded California, Nevada, Utah adn part of Arizona,New Mexico, Colorado and Wyoming and in return the united states gave Mexico $15 million. Later the president of Mexico sold the rest of Arizona and New Mexico for $10 million.
