He joined German military intelligence(he became a spy) and the Nazi Party. He gave them information until caught and arrested in 1938 in Czech.. He gave them good information and was later released when Germany conquered Czech. At first Schindler was loyal to Germany. -

Schindler is freed from prison as Germany annexes Sunderland.He sees first hand Germany's and Hitler's greed for war and domination. This will stick with him through out his life. He still hasn't seen the treatment of Jews yet. He tries to find a new job and will soon find it. -
Schindler gets involved in the Black Market
At the time Schindler need a job and money, he started looking at the Black Market for business opportunities. He will use his connections in the Black Market later to help Jewish people. -
Schindler acquires Enamelware Factory in Poland
He got this from being a wartime profiteer. He had 1750 workers and 1000 of them were Jewish He would use this factory to save 1100 Jewish lives. He had daily conversations with his workers. These helped him understand they didn’t deserve to die and he helped him. Also fully accepted to the Nazi Party. -
Germany makes the German-Soviet Pact of Nonaggression
This allows Germany to invade Poland. Schindler witnesses this and sees even more how war is brewing. He will soon find a new job however that will change his life as Germany war and might continues across Europe. -
Germany invades Poland
Germany has invaded and conquered another European country. This leads the way for several concentration camps. Also Schindler will find his job here and see the true nature of the treatments of Jews. The invasion isn't unnoticed by other countries. France and England were already watching and threatened Germany. -
Britain and France declare War on Germany
After the Invasion of Poland, England and France recognized Germany as a threat and new they would continue their conquest. They decided to declare war. Schindler will help the war effort at first. -
Mass murder at Auschwitz
The This is the first time Schindler saw the dark side of the Nazis and their beliefs. By this time Oscar had become friends with his Jewish workers at his factory so he now knew they were in danger. This was the first step leading to Schindler saving over a thousand Jews. -
Plaszow concentration camp opens near Schindler’s factory in fall of 1942
Germany deported more Jews so they opened up the Plaszow Concentration camp. This was close to Schindler's factory and showed Schindler the horrors of the Concentration camp and motivated him to help his workers. This was the second time Schindler saw the treatment of Jews. This was probably more real for him though since it was so close to his factory. This put his workers in more danger who were now his best friends. -
Germany implanted the liquidation of the Krakow Jewish Krakow population
The Nazis ordered all the Jews in Krawow to be deported and killed This made Schindler start to befriend Amon Göth(so he could use this connection later), use the black market and bribery to save his Jewish workers. He saw that what the Nazis were doing was wrong. Around 2000 Jews were killed. -

Schindler’s factory is decommissioned and he successfully petitioned to have it be moved to Brnenec
Schindler and his associates composed a list of workers(Schindler’s List) that he deemed essential for the new factory and submitted it for approval to the Jewish labour office. (With several versions of the list known, it is difficult to determine how many people were ultimately selected.) Though those chosen were diverted for a time to other concentration camps, Schindler intervened, ensuring that 700 men and 300 women eventually arrived at Brnĕnec. -
1944 More Jews came to Schindler’s factory,
100 more Jews to be precise(who had been transported from another concentration camp by the Nazis and abandoned in train cars in Brnĕnec). Those who reached the camp spent the remaining months of the war manufacturing machines that were designed to fail so they wouldn’t be helping the Germans war effort. A final head count compiled at this time listed 1,098 Jews at the camp. -
World War 2 ends
The war ends and Schindler and his wife flee the country the next day with the help of the Jews and their families. The Jews he saved became known as Schindlerjuden. Schindler settled in Argentina with his wifes and some of the families of Jew he saved. Schindler fled Czechoslovakia because he was wanted wanted for War crimes for his earlier espionage activities. -

Oskar Schindler dies in a Germany
Schindler dies in a Germany hospital at age 66 due to liver failure. He was penniless and mostly unknown at the time. This will change we is title Righteous among Nations! His Jewish friends will even honor him in a very special way. -
Schindler is buried in Jerusalem by the Jews he saved
Before his death, Schindler requested to be buried in Jerusalem. "My children are here..." he said was why he wanted his final resting place to be there. Amid hundreds of tearful Schindler Jews, they fulfilled his wish and he was buried on Mount Zion in Jerusalem. This was a great honor for Oskar Schindler.
