    Theory of Universal Grammar
Noam came up with the theory that grammar is embedded into our basic human instinct. His theory recieved lots of critcism until a recent study was done that might have proved it to be somewhat righ due to new studies done. It is compared to how babies learn and have that almost automatic instinct to walk but still have to learn how to actually walk but they're mechanics of their legs work.

    Chomsky–Foucault debate
Noam had a big debate with Michel a philosopher about human nature. The big question was 'Is there such thing as innate human nature independent of experiences or outside influences'. Chomsky argued that some things came to humans naturally, as along the lines of his universal grammar theory.

    The Pisa Lectures
The book Lectures on Government and Binding was published by Noam based off the lectures he gave GLOW conference in Pisa, Italy in 1979. The book further explains his views on Universal Grammar, that every language has a set of fixed principles that are shaped by each child through their experience and therefore sets the core of their first language.
