    Navigation Acts
    The Point of these acts was to make sure that the colonies would only buy from Great Briatain, No matter what the price. The outcome of the Navigation Acts was the colonists started smuggling goods for cheaper prices. ( such as Buying from france because it is cheaper than Great Britain.)
  • Proclamation Act

    Proclamation Act
    The purpose of this act was to give indians land after the French and Indian war.
    This Outraged the colonists because the king prohibited the colonists from settling past the App. Mountains. Colonists were Angered because they had bought land, and fought in a war and couldnt go past the app. mountains, even if they had bought land there. They Decided to settle there anyways
  • Sugar Act

    Sugar Act
    It made the colonists pay tax for foreign sugars. Started smuggling, and stoped buying sugar from England
  • Stamp Act

    Stamp Act
    It taxed all Printed materials, such as the newspaper IT angered the colonists because it taxed them without their consent and Taxed them directly. They boycotted against the Act.
  • Townshend Act

    Townshend Act
    This ct taxed colonists on paint, paper, lead and tea.
    This angered the colonists because they were being taxed by the British. They responded to this by wearing homade clothing rather than buying from the british
  • Tea Act

    Tea Act
    Allowed British East India company to directly sell tea to the colonies.
    Colonists boarded a ship and dumped all the tea into the ocean
  • Coercive act

    Coercive act
    Passed to punish the people in Massachusetts.
    Colonists made their own government and boycotted british goods.
  • Quebec Act

    Quebec Act
    Set up a government in Quebec.
    It angered the colonist because it gave Quebec land west of the App. Mountains.
