    The First Newspaper
    The first newspaper was printed by Richard Pierce and edited by Benjamin Harris in 1690. It was three pages long which is equivalent to half a page of a modern copy.
  • The First Weekly Newspaper

    The First Weekly Newspaper
    In 1704, a bookseller named John Campbell became the editor of a newspaper named Boston News-Letter. The first copy was issued in April of 1704. It only had one advertisement and was produced weekly, it was a big improvement.
  • Benjamin Franklin

    Later on, Benjamin Franklin took over a newspaper company. He was amazing and that is why they chose him to take over. He was an editor and a publisher. There was no one as good as him until 1726!
  • Modern Newspapers

    Nowadays, the newspapers are very long and informational. The have tons of pictures and advertisements. Sometimes, the short newspapers are even in color. They are not so expensive.
  • Futuristic Newspapers

    My future prediction for 2050 for newspapers is that they will be electronic and will read the article for you. I think that you can touch any article you want, and the newspaper will read it for you. They would probably be very expensive.
