De Vaca wanted to go to Cuba from Hispanoila so he tried sailing but his fleet was battered by a hurricane and he sailed to Florida. He tried to sail back to Hispanoila but was set off course again and landed in Galveston. He met the Karankawas who cried for 30 minutes up on his arrival there.

Coronado went to Mexico in search of the 7 cities of gold. His leader was Hernando De Alarcon. Coronado came across many tribes during his expidition. He never found the 7 cities of gold and was found guilty of various crimes.

Moscoso was a member of an expedition led by Hernando De Soto to get gold and riches in the New World. De soto died in 1542.

Fray Marcos set off from Spain in 1540 to explor America. He then went to search for the 7 cities of gold and reported that he saw it but it was from a distance becaue his friend Esteban had been killed in one of the 7 cities.
