First born to Pre-K
From the time that I was baby to starting Pre-Kindergarten, I remember reading a lot picture books in daycare. Also, my mother would read me bible stories and curious George books. -
Kindergarten
In kindergarten, I remember my teachers reading the Chicka Chicka, Boom Boom book by Bill Martin Jr in class. I also remember reading Brown Bear, Brown Beat what do you see? By Bill Martin Jr. -
Early Elementary School.
In my earlier years of elementary school, I would read a lot of Junie B Jones books. I would also get very excited for the book fairs that my school would have. My grandparents would also get me writing/reading textbooks to practice in. -
Late Elementary School
I would complete all the required books that we were supposed to read for homework and turn in all of my reading logs on time. I also really enjoyed reading the book "The Tale Of Despereaux" that I read in my fifth grade class. -
Middle School
In middle school, I enjoyed reading/learning about the Greek goddesses and gods. I also learned how to use correct grammar/punctuation when writing essays. One book that I enjoyed reading in middle school, was a book called The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton. -
High school
In high School, I remember enjoying reading Shakespeare books like Romeo and Juliet and I also liked the book To Kill A Mockingbird as well. Another important thing that I learned in high school was how to take proper cornell notes after reading a novel. -
Current
Currently, I do not read books for myself, but I do read a lot of children's novel with my children at daycare.
