We got a computer for Christmas and the internet that January. It was super slow but, we were able to use ICQ, to talk with our friends. My brother and I fought over computer time. In junior high we were introduced to hotmail and yahoo messenger. I made my first email. With Yahoo you could get in a chat room and talk with anyone. For our district we had to create our own teacher webpage, upload an image and add links to resources we used. We no longer use these. I remember this being a arduous task for me and very timely.
