Y2K was the change of the millenium. People believed computers only processed numbers under 1999. Therefore people though all computer related devices would crash. -
Ben was Born!
My brother Ben was born on February 12, 2001in Toronto, Ontario. THis impacted my life in a big way! I now have the best brother in the world!!! -
1st day of school
I started my first day of school in September of 2001. I went to Northumberland Montessori School in Cobourg, Ontario for 8 years! (Pres-Gr.4) I met my first friends at Montessori and I also met the people that I will know and care for, for the rest of my life. -
9\11 Disaster
In September of 2001 the Twin Towers and World Trait Centre were attacked by terrorists. These monuments are located in New York City. This happened because the terrorists wanted to make the USA unhappy. They wanted to spread the war that was happening where they lived to the United States. The impact on the United states has been huge. Not only in the security and safety aspect but the impressions of other countries. -
The crash on the Hudson
On January 15, 2009 there was a plane crash on the Hudson river. The jet engines on the plane lost fuel and caused the pilot to land the plane to the best of his ability. Fortunately all 155 people onboard survived. This event has impacted people point of view of flying and made people more worried to fly. -
1st day of TCS
In September 2009 I started school at TCS. Trinity is a huge part of my life! I love coming to school in the morning and seeing my friends and teachers. It has had such an impact on my life that I can not even explain. -
The Oil Spill
In April of 2010 an oil rig eploded in the Gulf of Mexico. Thsi event caused 42, 000 gallons of oil to spill out into the Gulf of Mexico each day over weeks. The impact on the world has been huge. Mostly on wildlife sand nature. -
1st day of Competetive Dance
In 2010 I started dancing competetively. It is my favourite thing to do. I dance at Jennifer's Jazz It Up here in Port Hope! I have so much fun! I will be dancing, I hope, for the rest of my life. It has impacted my life in a big way. The people and community have made my life that much better!
