The shootout at Stringybark Creek between Ned Kelly and Police Officers was not originally meant to be a shoot out as Ned did not want to harm the officers and had lots of respect for them, but only one surrendered and the rest fired first, so he killed them out of self defence. -

The Boxer Rebellion was a uprising which was against foreigners originating in China which was started by peasants and was also supported by the Chinese government. The Boxer Rebellion sought to drive all foreigners from China. -
The Battle Of Beersheba
The Battle of Beersheba was won by the Light Horse when they stormed through Beersheba with their horses, some troops jumping straight over the heads of those in trenches while some went around. 31 men died with 37 wounded from the Light Horse.
