My video was short enough to be able to shoot in one day. This allowed for me to invest more time in editing. -
Editing begins
This took longer than the shooting stage as it was critical to select the best footage. If the wrong footage was chosen, it would require more time to redit the correct footage -
Selection of music
This is crucial as the wrong music could overshadow the whole scene. To accomplish this I created a playlist on Spotify with the best music I found. -
Selection of Sound Effects
The fact that the sound effects can make or break any movie was apparent to me so therefore I invested a decent amount of time into this aspect. -
Colour correct all footage
This was important for the rain scenes and the dream scenes as it allowed me to change the weather from a normal day to grey skies and rain. It also allowed for me to bring out the blues in my dream to give a "Dream" vibe.
