    World Wide Web aka WWW was introduced around this year, technically starting in 1989, by British computer scientist Tim Berners-Lee. It was available for use in 1990, but in 1994 is when more users started to really use it and it became popular. This advancement is widely used and it is a quicker way to communicate worldwide.

    This year DVD players came out along with MP3 players, smartphones, digital camera, and mobile phones with emojis! We went from modem to broadband. Broadband is very different from Wifi, as Wifi uses signals to establish connections and broadband uses wired or wireless computer network.

    I had a non-camera Nokia phone, always playing the snake game. Nokia was invented in 1992. The very first call was used by the Finnish Prime Minister Harri Holkeri to make the world's first GSM call. It was 1993, when Nokia started selling its first digital Nokia model, #1011. Taneli Armanto, created the Snake Game in 1997 on the Nokia 6110.

    I purchased an Apple 4 and was in love/impressed with Apples latest technology. The initial release date of the Apple iPhone 4 was June 24, 2010. I got mine sometime in the Summer of July 2011. Little known fact, is that this model can be still used today as a basic phone for emails, web, texting and talking.
