Worked toward achieving success by doing multiple things including give 85% of schools budgets to the headteachers to manage. Also worked to helping narrowing gaps of achievement between ethnic minorities, this obviously concerns me as i am of a ethnic minority.

Schools classed as failing would be given a year to make tings better or they would be closed down and reopened as academies. When I started my course i did some taster sessions in Sandwell academy.

I started at Swanshurst School which is an all girls school, it was very different to my primary school as it was not a religous school and is an all girls school.
