Marco was born to Nicole anna defusen. there is debate whether marco was born in venice ( the place he lived most of his life) or on the island curzola. A place said to be apart of the polos wealth.

the polo brothers leave to trade along the silk road. Marco is only 6 years old. his up bringing is left to his mother and reletives.

The polo brothers arrive in great khan, beijingwith there khan resquer. theyare welcomed by the great khan and questioned about threre part of the world.

the polo brothers avoid the war zone and make it to venice. marco is 15 years old and his mother (nicole anna ) has passed away.

The polos arrive in the cpital of Shang-tu. Then they procced to the winter residance where the Emperor, kablai Khan was resided. there they give him the gifts they brought with them from Europe.

The polos spend many years in the service of Kublai Khan. then they decide to leave china before they are trapped in china forever. They leave and make a 3 year journey back to Venice. Marco is 41 by the time they arrive home.

Marco, at the age 69 dies of an illness. He died 28 years after his adventure in china. He left a sustanable amout of money to his wife and children.
Many people doubted Marcos storys about china and his book was considered fiction. But when he died many of his posetions where revealed and the golden tablet from Kublai Khan.
