    The witches arrange to meet with Macbeth in a field.

    Act 1 scene 2

    Macbeths fights and becomes thane of cawdor.
  • Jan 14, 1573

    Act 1 scene 3

    The 3 witches tell banquo and Macbeth. Macbeth will be thane of glamis, thane of cawdor, and the King of Scotland. Banquo's prophecy, lesser then Macbeth, not as happy, descendants will be King.

    Act 1 scene 4

    Macbeth has a party and invites Duncan to it. Malcolm is now prince of Cumberland.
