Watching my dad work on cars

2008

I remember watching my dad work on cars when i was little. Typically my job was to hold the flashlight and hand him tools. I had to observe him in order to learn how i could help with the mechanical things

Kindergarten

2009

I had issues spelling "together". My kindergarten teachers assistant broke it down and taught me to spell it "to-get-her"

First Grade

2011

My first grade teacher always made us race doing word searches for bubble gum.

Junie B. Jones play

2011

I watched to a Junie B. Jones play for a school field trip at the Lexington Children's Theater in 1st or 2d grade.

Second Grade

2012

I started the Junie B. Jones books and finished them by the end of the school year.

Third Grade

2013

In third grade the teacher assigned a debate and speaking my argument in front of the class completely freaked me out.

Fourth Grade

2014

My fourth grade teacher made us write a journal entry every day before recess.

Fifth Grade

2015

I wrote my first research paper in fifth grade over Monster Energy drinks being "satanic".

Sixth Grade

2016

My math teacher in Menifee County taught us about adding and subtracting negatives through a "love and hate" lesson. Negative being hate and positive being love. The class was so consumed in the lesson that all of us forgot to take notes.

Paracord Bracelets

I observed a family friend make paracord bracelets and learned how to make them as well.
