Born in Islip, New York at Southside Hospital. My parents where a very happy couple Jose and Josefina Millan. I'm the oldest of three children. Five years later my parents decided to have my sister Angelica (born in Florida), then five years later after that my younger sister Melissa (born in New York). My parents moved back and forth from New York and Florida.

Struggled in school since I did not know spanish. Only common words but no writing or reading skills.

Single mother..after her birth studied at BOCES Technical College, New York. Computerized Business Procedures...When finished my certification I worked at Natures Answer, Inc. as a secretary. I shared with many different cultures, Italian, German, American, etc.

Worked in San Juan as a bilingual office assistant for about 2 1/2 years at J.M. Ventura Engineering. I utilized my many skills as a secretary but also as an English speaker. All staff memebers new the language, I loved it since I felt confertable.

Blessed with a second child with beautiful blue eyes...but my relashionship did not last long. Although, I never regret having Yazmin who shines everywhere we go.

The company owner is arrested for making illegal business with the government. I lost my job and decide to study for English Teacher.

Started to work at the S.U. Federico Degetau of Barranquitas, P.R. Currently working at the same school for 5.5 years. First three years worked with a deaf student had to learn basic sign language in order to communicate with the student. Acquiring new language experience.

Started this year with a new challenge...working a Kindergarten Bilingual Program.

Started to take courses at the Sagrado Corazon University of San Juan. To certify myself in Bilingual Education.
