    Rosa Parks History After a hard day from work Rosa Parks made a statement in the fight against racism. By refusing to move from her seat (when she was in a white person spot.) Because of Rosa Parks actions the busses were soon desegregated and boycotted. Her face was plastered as the symbol of the bus boycott. This major act helped the desegregation movement move forth into greater things.

    MLK On this date Martin Luther King created a civil rights group to fight for desegregation. He had help from his fellow fighters. This is when Martin Luther King started being recognized for great, peaceful acts against desegregation. Many people started joining MLK in his peaceful acts.

    Woolworth's Sit In Four black students from Greensboro, North Carolina began a sit in. At the Woolworth's lunch counter they told the four students that they don't serve African Americans. From then on the four students came back every day with their peers, until the coffee shop was desegregated. This act then spread through the south helping coffee shops become desegregated allowing anyone to be served.

    Assasination Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated in Memphis by James Earl Ray. This broke the hearts of many but this helped many African Americans fight harder to avenge his death (Peacefully.) Because of his death, many people realized how significant he really was and they joined his movements to fight for desegregation.
