Leonardo was born on April 15, 1452 in the Tuscan town of Vinci full birth name was Lionardo di ser Piero Da Vinci.
1457- Lived in the household of his father, grandparents and uncle in the small town of Vinci.

Appreticed to the artist Andrea di Cione know as Verrocchio

Leonardo was exposed to both theoretical training and a vast range of technical skills.
Leonardo collaborated with Verrocchio on his Baptism of Christ painting.

Leonardo spent much of his time living in the Belvedere in the Vatican in Rome, in 1516 he entered Francois service, it was here that he spent the last three years of his life and where he died on May 2, 1519.
