He was born on 15 april 1452 at half past ten.
He was born a few miles from Vinci.Leonardo was a descendant of a rich family. -
In 1457, when Leonardo was five years old, his mother married Antonio di Piero Buti of Vacca da Vinci, a local peasant, with whom he had five children.

prestigious art workshops under the Magisterium of Andrea del
