    The treat blamed the Germans for starting the war. They saw little to be fair to be fair in the treaty.
  • The Nazi Party is Formed

    The Nazi party began with three guys named Anton Drexler, Gottfried Feder, and Dietrich Eckart. The orginally name of the group was the German Worker’s Party.
  • Treaty of Versailles Signed

    The Treaty of Versailles put the guilt of war on Germany.It forced massive economic, military, geographic, and emotional damage on Germany that would be used by Hitler to convince the German people to follow him.
  • The League of Nations is Formed

    The League of Nations was set up to try to keep world peace. It was planed that all countries would be included in the League and that if there were disagreements between countries they could be settled peacefully rather than by force.
  • The League of Nations Failed

    The league of nations failed for many reasons. Not all countries joined the League. Due to the fear of communism Germany and Russia were excluded. The league had no how no power when the great depression hit in the late 1920's.The league only met four times a year and they had to gain agreement of all member. This meant that they could not act quickly to stop an act of aggression.

    The King of Italy hands over power to the Benito Mussolini. The King was fearing the power of Mussolini’s Fascist Party.
  • The Enabling Act of 1933 is Passed

    The Enabling Act of 1933 is Passed, giving Adolf Hitler complete power over the new Nazi Germany. The act marks Hitler’s unofficial transition from a democratic chancellor to a totalitarian dictator.
  • Signing of The Munich Pact

    Adolf Hitler, Italian Prime Minister Benito Mussolini, French Premier Édouard Daladier, and British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain sign the Munich Pact.This allows Nazi Germany to add the Sudetenland in an effort to serve Germany and prevent war.
  • Germany Invades Poland

    World War II begins when Nazi Germany takes Poland’s capital in an attack. German forces conquer the Polish army and receive Warsaw’s surrender.
  • Britian and France Declare War

    Britain and France decided to declare war on Germany. They declared war after the attack on the Allied nation of Poland.
