Francisco Franco took over Madrid then ended the war a few days later and was the dictator of the country. He then ruled until 1975 when he died. He died November 22 of 1975 of heart failure.

It took Hitler and his Nazis less than a month to overun Poland. He used the newly adopted technique of "blitzkrieg" or lightning war to accomplish this task. It is a three pronged attack with planes bombing first, followed by tanks and artillery, next, and finally ground troops attack.
