The Privacy Act of 1974 establishes certain controls over what personal information is collected by the federal government and how it is used.i think this is very smart because just like all of the other acts, it protects rights to privacy and people's personal information.

Cable companie must provide a written notice of privacy practices to each subscriber. cable service providers must obtain written or electronic consent from the subscriber before collecting any personal information. This will ensure that the subscribers information is protected. I give this policy an A+ because, it protects the consumer's right to privacy and will ensure that their information is not released where it is not meant to be. -

This act keeps the privacy of children protected. It requires a privacy policy notice. I gice this act also an A+ because i believe that children's privacy is very important and it should always stay safe. -

This act limits the governments access to personal information and limits disclosures to third parties. It requires consent prior to disclosure of personally identifiable information to individuals. I give this act an A+ because, i think personal information is supposed to be kept confidential. -
Prohibits an employer from requiring or requesting an employee or applicant for employment to disclose a user name or password for the purpose of accessing personal social media. This will help prevent employers from getting information they really do not need. I also give this one A+ because, it protects emplyee"s information from being accessed.
