"one day in july 1973 i played another little trick on Hassan"(30) Amir was reading to Hassan and then he sunddenly stopped reading the book and started making up his own story. Hassan had no idea and it ened up being his favorite story. -

for hassans birthday baba had payed for a docoor to give Hassan plastic surgery. The docotor did surgery on Hassans nose and he was very pleased with is present. -
Amir's peace is gone
"what was so funny was that, for the first time since the winter of 1975, i felt at peace." (289) Amir has not felt at peace since the events in the winter of 1975. In the winter of 1975 Amir had lost all his peace. -
Amir and Hassan win
Amir and Hassan play in a kite tournament,. Amir cuts the last kite and Hassan runs the kite for him. Baba congratulates them and Amir runs off to find Hassan to see him being assulted by Assef. Amir flees the sceen and doesnt do anything about it. -

A store worker asked Baba for his id. Baba believed the man thought he was a theif and he saw no reason for him to show his id. Ultimitly Baba was kicked out of the store and was never welcomed back. -
Amirs graduation
Amir graduated from high school and applied for college. He majored in wirting and wanted to become an author. -
Amir meets Soraya
Amir meets Soraya's father and soon sees Soraya. Amir speaks with her for the first time and instantlky falls in love wth her. -
Amirs first novel
Amir finished his first ever novel. Amirs novel soon was published and had a celebration. Baba was proud of Amir for the first time in a long time. -
