    She was an educator, temperance reformer, and was involved in women's suffrage making her very involved in reform such as a progressive believing change was needed. She became national president of the Women's Christian temperance Union in 1879 and held the title till her death in 1898

    Tin Pan alley was the name given to the song writers and music publishers that controlled the late 19th century and early 20th century. Tin pan alley was located in New York City in the Flower district of Manhattan until about 1930 but was commemorated by a plaque.

This caused a lot it to be sold in underground speakeasies where many corrupt cops were paid to keep it quiet. Although it was ratified in 1919 it did not go into place until the following January in 1920.

    He made a straight 33 hour trip from Roosevelt, Long Island, New York to paris in a single engine plane all by himself and was brought to instant fame by winning an orteig prize also earned the highest military decoration a Medal of Honor for completing the trip. He made the first transatlantic flight without a stop from North America to Mainland Europe. He was also a military officer, author, inventor, explorer and environmental activist.

    He created the Ford model T which was the first affordable car during that time period. He also created the assembly line which led to a major break through in urban growth.

    He was for segregation because he knew that their color wouldn't ever receive the same rights as the white population which led to the foundation of the Black Star Line. He wanted take his people back to Africa because he believed thats where they belonged and where they needed to be to equate the respect they deserve.

During the crash a lot of people including our economy suffered because of the crash a created a sense of meaninglessness and led to some suicides.

Many people and families were forced to live in Hoovervilles or become homeless because they were unable to attain any money to pay for really anything. We were later brought out of the depression by FDR and lead us to a semi stable society but we did not fully recover.

    This was created when FDR came to presidency and created a solution to bring America from the trenches of the Great Depression in which he created many new agencies to help keep banks open and create a stable economy. Most of his programs were able to help out the cause and bring them out of the depression but was never able to fully end the depression as most of the programs were still progressing and brought about about a semi stable economic situation.

    Eleanor was a diplomat and an activist who also became the longest serving first lady to President Franklin D Roosevelt during his four terms as president. She also served as a delegate of the U.S to the United Nations General Assembly and was referred to as the "First Lady of the World" by president Harry Truman in tribute to her human rights achievements.

    This was a public work relief program that created manual labor jobs for men who were young and not yet married to help create a source of jobs for them. It was kind of like a camp that you signed up for and you made a certain amount and a portion of it was sent back to your family so they would not struggle.

    This insured any deposit that the people put into their bank accounts just incase the banks were to close again people were able to have access to that money instead of being lost like the previous system. It basically created a system where the banks behaviors were put in check to help stabilize the banking industry and ensure there would be no future closings due to loss of money.

    They hold primary responsibility in enforcing federal security laws, proposing security rules, and regulations related to the securities industry. This made it to where your stock brokers could not sell fake stock or trick people into thinking they would become rich off of stock that did not actually exist.

    This repealed the 18th amendment and made it to where alcohol was not illegal but created an age limit and had more laws surrounding the use of alcohol to prevent what had occurred the first time when alcohol had no restrictions

    This amendment set terms for the presidents and vice presidents terms to end so that an election can be held to either re-elect or elect a new president. It also states the congress will meet at least once a year at noon on the 3rd day of January.

    He was our only president to be re-elected more than two times and serve a little over a decade in office. He was elected and brought in to help bring us out of the depression and economic crisis that was in the midst of almost destroying America but he created the New Deal and many programs to help us get out of it some of which are still in effect today.
