They would hold up to 7,000 people, who depended on the government for food and shelter. Unfortunatley, Kony found out about some of the camps and either raided them or burnt them to the ground killing over half of these innocent civilians. -

Joseph Kony continued to kidnap many more children throughout the 1990’s. It was an easy way to replenish soldier numbers, with the boys trained to fight and kill and the girls used as sex slaves and pack mules. -
