The govornment has no right to tell the people what religion to worship. People have the freedom to speak and the govornment can't overpower people.

People have a right to have weapons. They can hold weapons in their house. A militia can hold a weapon also.

Either in war or peace, a soldier has no right to go to a strangers house. the stranger doesn't have to serve them. This was caused becuase when the king ruled, soldiers were free to house themselves to random people. This angered the people. Therefore this amendment was made.

People do not have a right to randomly search other people's property. You need a search warrent to legally search other people's property and/or items.

People can accuse someone of a crime. The person accused has to go to court to prove himself innocent. Either way, there will be fair treatment to everyone. The jury will decide "Guilty" or "Not Guilty."

Criminals will go to court to defend themselves. Witnesses and the person who accused someone will appear in court. The criminal will have a lawyer.

Commonlaw will be used in court. Common law was developed by England, based off of court decisions. Twenty dollars will be owed. No one will be reexamed in another court in the United States.

The constitiution has certain rights to follow, as do the people. The people still have freedom, but their are laws along with it. The people cannot deny the laws.

The states and the people are not delegated by the constitution. Some laws the states make are in unusual areas, such as California, where there is a limit to fishing nets.

No bail is required. Unusual or cruel punishments are aginst the law, and no one is permitted to do them to anyone.

The judicial Branch cannot enforce any suit of law. They can't go agianst the states, or fight for more power. People of each state cannot be commenced by another state.

Whoever gets the most votes wins President. This happened becuase in 1800, there was a tie between the canidates. The runner up was offered V.P. But that did not follow the amendments. The runner-up cannot be a part of the office.

Slavery is not aloud in America. Being under the authority of another person is slavery, but the United States wanted all men to be equal. Congress agreed that slavery is unfair.

All people born in the U.S are citizens of the United States, and of their state. The state shall not make a law that will deprive a person of their freedom.

Everyone over the age of 18 can vote. You can vote if you are a man or a woman. It does not matter what race or condition you have or are.

Congress is in charge of collecting taxes. They will collect from all states. The people need to pay their taxes whne they are due.

There are two Seantors per state. They each serve six years. The Senators each have one vote, adn are elected by the people of the state.

Sale or transportation of alcohol is illegal in the U.S. It cannot be exported or imported from the U.S. The Congress and several states will enforce this.

The votes will count no matter what gender. Woman's votes will count just as much as mens, once they turn at least 18.

The terms of the President and V.P end on 1/20. The Seantors and Representitives terms end on 1/3. If the President is unable to serve, the V.P will take his place.

Amendment 18 has been removed. It is now legal to transport liquor from the U.S to other countries. It is legal to recieve liquor from other countries.

Franklin Roosevelt served four terms in a row. But before that, George Washington made the tradition of only two terms. Now, to keep Washingtons promise, Congress made an amendment on limited presidential terms. Our current president is on his second term.

The discrict of Columbia wasn't officially a state, so they could not vote. This was unfair to the citizens living in D.C. The Congress wanted rights to all the people.

People can vote for free. It is illegal to charge someone to vote. In any vote involving the govornment, there is no pay or tax to vote. Americans can vote freely.

If the president can't serve, the V.P will take the position. When the V.P can't serve, the president will nominate a new V.P, with aprovall from the houses. The president needs to write a declaration that he can't serve.

An 18-year-olds vote counts just as much as everyone elses. If you are an 18-yer-old, you are a legal adult.Congress thought that all adults should be able to vote. Members of a record industry founded Rock To Vote, to encourage young adults to vote.

You can't change the pay of the Senators or Representitives. It cannot change until the Representitives have a vote on it.
