Moving Day
I moved to Red Deer from Airdrie, AB to attend college. My best friend from Montreal helped me move & stayed a couple months. -
First Day of School
I began at RDC in Elementary Education Program. -
New Cousin
My aunt & uncle adopted a two year old boy from China who became my new cousin! -
Volunteer Work
I began as a volunteer tutor at Learning Disabilities Association & volunteered at Culture Services Centre for an art camp. -
Summer Vacation
I visited Niagara Falls for first time with family & went on bus trip with friends to Toronto, Ontario. -
Alberta Music Education Foundation
I began as a volunteer piano teacher for underprivileged students at Aspen Heights Elementary School. -
Middle Years Program
I was accepted into the Middle Years Program at RDC/U of A & completed my first practicum. -
Edmonton
I moved to Edmonton for six weeks to complete a math course & stayed in residence at U of A where I met many new friends. -
AFX Practicum
I began extended practicum in Grade 5, assisting mentor teacher & getting to know students. -
Last Semester
Currently in last semester of university classes before moving on to full-time practicum and then my first teaching job!
