Europeans in Japan
Europeans first arrived in Japan in 1543, bringing with them a range of new technologies and cultural practices, including the Christian religion. But in 1635, the ruling shogun closed Japan to foreigners and forbade Japanese to travel abroad, beginning a state of isolation that would last more than 200 years. -
Shoguns overthrow.
In 1868, the shoguns were overthrown and emperors returned. After that Mutsuhito abolished the caste of samurai. -
Flag's creation
This flag have a red sun in the center with 16 rays. It was used by japanese Navy from 1889. After WWII it was banned, however it was used bt Naval Self Defense Force. -

In 1905 finished the war. In 1904 Japan undertook this war to expand its territories in China. Finally, Japan won the conflict. -

Attacked to Pearl Harbor
The 7 December 1941 Japan's aviation attacked Pearl Harbor, in Hawaii. -
First atomic bomb
in 6 august 1945 the plane Enola Gay dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima. -
Second atomic bomb
In 9 August 1945 the allies aviation dropped one other atomic bomb on Nagasaki. In 14 August 1945 Japan signed terms of surrender.
