Start to adulthood

Janet just graduated high school and leaves for the military to get away from home, and to discover herself.
Erickson’s fifth stage Identity vs Confusion
Janet was faced with a crisis, starting adult hood and realizing that there has to be something next she found a way out. The hard path that followed would challenge everything Janet thinks she knows about herself (confusion). But through that journey she will learn who she is at her lowest and who she can be at her best (Identity) -
Retirement

Janet retires from the military after 25 years, and is no longer, “told what to do”.
Erickson’s seventh stage Generativity vs Stagnation
Janet is forced to figure out what is next and decide for the first time in her life, “what time am I going to wake up Monday morning” life as retired woman bring struggles to want to help the community and make a name for herself(Generativity) and feeling like she is wasting away (stagnation).
