The Election 1824 was when Andrew Jackson was compiting agaist John Quincy Adams. Both of them didnt get high enough votes. So John Q. Adams told Henry Clay that if he would help him get more votes and be president of the U.S. and that he'll turn him into his secretary. Andrew Jackson was mad and called it a "currpt bargain". He wanted revenge. -

Indian Removal Act
When the U.S. Government bought Louisian, Native Americans lived there. Andrew Jackson wanted to move them West of the Mississippi River. They were suppose to trade something for them to move. Some could stay if they wanted to. But Andrew Jackson didn't care and made them walk West, the "Trail of Tears". John Marshall didn't support this decision. -
Nullification Crisis
The North had factories and the South had farms. The South was buying goods from Europe because they were much cheaper than the North. Andrew Jackson came up with a tariff. Every good exported from the East, the South had to pay taxes. Now Europe’s goods were more expensive than the North. John C. Calhoun was mad because now they had to waste more money than usual. He wanted to nullify the tariff, but the Constitution said they couldn’t. They cause a chaos, but Henry Clay came up with compromise -
Bank War
Adrew Jackson didn't want a National Bank. He thought that the National bank supported the wealthy more than the poor. He wanted state banks. He didnt care about anything he just did whatever he wanted. So he got rid of the National Bank and ttransfered all the money to state banks.After he left presedency, he lleft a big problem to the next president becuase their were more poor people because their was not money
