The second bank was established like the first bank was originally created. Like the first bank, the second bank was disliked by other citizens of the United States. The people believed it was a "monopoly" and the bank would only support the wealthy.

President Jackson stopped the all transactions and deposits of money and any withdrawals of money. He transferred all the money form the Second bank to the "pet banks".

This election was a two-table system of parties. The whigs were the anti-Jacksons and the others were Democrats.

There were lower wages and the U.S. was in shambles. The Whigs and the Democrats had a lot of tension because of the Whigs winning the Election. This also set a law that if the president died, their Vice President becomes the new president.
