    After becoming the dictator of Italy, Mussalini with the belief of the glorification of Italy and no interest in a democracy he created the Nationl Fascist Party.

    Mussolini secured a new law from the parliament. Any party, having 25% of the votes in a general election, should receive two-thirds of the seats in the Chamber of Deputies. April 1924, Mussolini immediately arranged for elections to the Chamber of Deputies.

In 1947, the Lateran Pacts were integrated into the democratic Constitution of Italy.

When Italy saw that Nazi Germany aggressively took control of many territories they felt that they should do the same. Relations are patched up between Germany and Italy with the Pact of Steel, reaffirming their alliance.
