    First Generation iPod
    Steve Jobs made the first iPod on October 23, 2001 by Apple co. It held 1000 songs and up to 4.2mb or 5-10 GB of storage. The iPod is white and contains a scrolling wheel, which turns, with a menu, pause/play, next, and previous button on it. In the middle there is a white circle button used to select options of the iPod. It held ten hours of battery. Also, the iPod had a very small screen, and a thick outer casing.

    The third generation iPod was released on April 28, 2003. It is thinner and lighter than the first one. The four auxiliary buttons were moved directly under the screen in a row. The scrolling wheel did not contain the auxiliary buttons anymore. It gives buyers the option of buying a 10GB, 15GB, or 30GB iPod that holds either 2500, 3700, or 7500 songs. In addition this iPod contained games, customization options, an alarm clock, and a voice recorder.
