    The amendment that Malala fixed was the right that any kid should get edication, no matter was race and gernder they are. While doing so she was shot in the head going to school but still lived to fight for what she believed in.

    Malala Yousafzai was born on July 12 1997 in mingora, the swat district of north-west Pakistan. She loved to learn and go to school where her father Ziauddin Yousafzai teaches.

    Once the Taliban took over her home they started attaching girls schools. This devestated Malala. Her father said that she should start the BBC which is a blog where she can state her opinion in 2009.She used the code name Gul Makai but was revealed in December that same year. This started her on the path to becoming an Activist.

    Malala started writing more BBCs and the Talian started seeing her and her father as a threat. They sent death threats to both of them but her father said it was ok even though Malala was scared. He said that if they were killed what they beileved in would just get stronger.

    As Malala was riding her school bus with her friends by her side, a masked gunsman came on and demanded to know which one was Malala when her friends looked at her it gave her away. The gunsman shot in the head and the bulet went through her head down her neck and into her shoulder. Her friends were also hurt. She was left in critical postition and was rushed to the military hospital Peshawar. After a lot of healing and sugery she was able to leave with little brain damage.

    while Malala was recovering in the hospital from the shooting 2000 people signed a right to free education petition which the National Assembly ratified it and the Education bill was created.

    Malala and Ziauddin co-founded the Malala fund which is to bring awareness and to impact girls to rise to their potential and change the world for the better
  • Prizes

    Malala won a Nobel Peace Prize and a Sakharow prize. On October 10 2013 European Parliament awarded Malala with the Sakharov prize for freedom of thought. That same year she was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize but did not win. In October 2014 she was nominated again and did win becoming the youngest to win a Nobel Peace Prize. She was also nominated for the Children's Peace Prize in 2011 and in that same year she was awarded the Pakistan's National Youth Peace Prize.
