The treaty was made to keep peace and to punish Germany for “starting the war”. The punish Germany part was mostly pushed by France because France was craving revenge. it made the German people really mad and in attempts to complete some of the terms on the treaty it sent Germany’s economy into hyperinflation.

The purpose was to prevent all future wars and was made up of most of the Allies from WWI. The main disadvantage though was that the USA and USSR refused to join and so the League had no strong boy backup.

Following Germany’s example, Italy had a fascist party overthrow the government and were very popular among the people. The government was quite corrupt before Mussolini came in so Italy was suffering big time. (Rush Uh oh oho ohh)

The 1920’s were a booming and lively time for the US but in 1929 the stock market crashes hard and takes most of the world economy with it. Also known as the beginning of The Great Depression.

The Japanese wanted to have a ‘puppet government’ in Manchuria, meaning they would control the government in the background. To do this, Japan created an accident and then blamed it on the Chinese allowing them to invade China.

Hitler wanted to be the Chancellor and he was like “Hey I’ll do all these things that you like (trash the Treaty of Versailles, take back the land they have lost, etc.) if you vote for me” and over 30 million Germans were like “ Oh I simp” and then voted for Hitler.

Mussolini wanted total control over the Mediterranean Sea and rename it “Italy’s Sea”. Abyssinia (also known as Ethiopia) pleaded the League of Nations to help but the L of N didn’t want to upset Italy so they only scolded Italy. The L of N was worried Italy would join Germany and their worries were right as Italy and Germany so became Allies despite the L of N silent protests.

After Hitler completely obliterated all his rivals and went through his short journey rising in the ranks , he started his A+ plan to take over Europe. One of the first things he did is place his strong boys in the Rhineland, there was no interference because Britain and France didn’t want to have another hissy fit.

Hitler had a mad case of Homesickness and decided that he wanted Austria to be apart of Germany. So he asked, very politely, if the people actually wanted to be Germans instead. But then he decided that he don’t wait for no one and invaded Austria a literal day after they voted and before they could even start counting.

Britain, France, Italy, and Germany decided that the Czechoslovak people didn’t have any rights to their land and agreed that Germany could have the Sudetenland as long as Hitler didn’t take anymore land. Hitler nodded his head like the liar he was and told them that he definitely wouldn’t do that. The Czech people were really ticked off because Britain were supposed to be the pillowcase to their pillow.

Hitler wanted the rest Czechoslovakia and proceeded to go back on his totally honest word of not taking anymore land. After he took the Sudetenland, the Czech’s weren’t at the top of their game and Hitler took advantage of that to take over the rest of the country.

After the First World War, Poland was born. Germany saw it and was like “mine ❤️”, so they made a fake excuse like Poland soldiers attacked German ones so they could invade. Britain and France were like “who do you think you are” and both declared war on September 3. Canada was like “you made my mom mad? Prepare for my fist” and joined the fight on September 10. And that is the beginning of the Second World War.
