U.S - German peace treaty
It was signed on behalf of the American and German governments after the ending of WWII. The aim was to restore relationships between the two nations. The reason that America signed a seperate peace treaty to the one of Versailles was because the U.S Senate did not consent to the ratification of the treaty of Versailles. In other words they did not sign the treaty of Versailles because signing the agreement meant joining the league of nations which America did not want to do. -

Began in United States of America. It came after the huge economic boost of the roaring 20's. In August America had reached its economic hight and many began to become unemployed and production slowed very soon the U.S.A entered a recession, then a few months later the stock market crashed and America was in trouble. the great depression resulted in many Americans becoming unemployed, homeless and the economy took a big hit and this effected many other nations as well. -

Japan seeking for raw materials to grow japans economy, invaded Manchuria. Japan was seeking for raw materials becasue of the imposed sanctions that the U.S had put on Japan. Japan not wanting to take these sanctions decided to invade and gain land to gain materials to grow their economy. -

This was a war that broke out between the people republic of China and the Empire of Japan. The war started because of the Marco Polo Bridge innocent, which turned into a full invasion China. This was came about due to the tensions that had risen between the two nations after Japan had invaded the Chinese area of Manchuria. -
The Nanjing Massacare
The Nanjing Massacre was a period of 6 weeks when the Japanese armed forces murdered hundreds of thousands of innocent Chinese people in the city of Nanjing. During this time also over 80,000 women were raped or sexually assaulted. Bodies of people piled up in graves, many thrown into the sea. Japanese had no mercy on anyone killing infants as well. The Japanese goal was to destory the also burning down all homes and business and looting every last one. Over 300,00 innocent people died. -
Australia declares war
Prime Minster at the time Robert Menzies, gave an announcement to Australia via the radio stating that "Great Britain has declared war upon her (in reference to Germany), and that as a result Australia is also at war. This announcement was made on national radio at the time of 21 hundred hours and 15 min or 9:15 pm.
