    Europeans were trying to get to India to trade, having to sail around Africa. Doing so, they learned more about Africas culture.

    Europe starts buying slashes from Africa and gave them guns in return
  • Europe starts taking over Africa

    Europe wanted the resources in Africa so countries start taking sections of Africa including Britain, France, Spain and Italy

    Great Britain wanted control over the Suez Canal for money so they started to take over Egypt

    Germany and Portugal joined in on the fun of taking over countries in Africa and by now almost of of Africa was controlled by Europe
