This information is important because it defines how this species could have survived.

Their capabilities were that they were bipedal, they lived in groups, and used tools to hunt for food. This is all valuble to modern humans so they could figure out how they evolved into homo sapiens sapiens.

They additionally buried their dead and existed with early modern humans,they also hunted in groups.These skills are important because they might lead to new discoveries for Homo Sapiens Neandrathals.

They also had high rounded skulls, large brains, small teeth, and slender bones. They made and used stones for engraving and sculpting, needles for sewing, and earth and stone for shelter. They were capable of creating better survival tools. This is all important because the skills made scientific marks in history.
