Nowadays when we think of a telephone we think of our modern Iphones or Samsungs, but in the 19th century telephones were something much different. I still see telephones as one of the most important inventions, since without the easier way of communication many big companies or perhaps inventions wouldn't have been possible. -
Automobile
Today you can't walk outside without seeing a car sooner or later. They have made travelling easier and therefore made a lot of things possible that wouldn't have been possible without the ease of travel. Nowadays cars are a bit more of a problem though. They are so popular that the exhaust fumes and pollution are starting to have an impact on the world. The person that comes up with a totally eco-friendly car should definitely be on this timeline in the future. -
X-ray
If you have a somewhat serious injury in today's world one of the first forms of treatment will be an x-ray. An x-ray isn't a treatment in itself, but to be able to know what exactly is wrong with the patient is certainly a huge advantage. -

The same story as with cars. Flights have been incredibly important for humans, but today they are a big problem. I, however, am a believer that someone will come up with a more eco-friendly way of flying -
Television
Televisions haven't really made anyone's life easier, but they do bring people joy and entertainment. In my opinion, televisions with their screens were also kind of the start to introducing screens to mobile phones or other gadgets. -
Computer
It is pretty much safe to say that everything we use or do today has involved a computer in one way or another. That's why I see computers as one of the most important inventions ever. -
Laser
Most people will probably not have laser on their lists, because when we think of laser we think of lights and guns. Laser, however, has also provided a lot of help in the medical industry. Many surgeries are taking advantage of laser, for example eye surgeries. -
Mobile phones
In my opinion today it could be seen as a need to have a mobile phone. Emails, messages, news, meetings, phone calls and whatever else one can imagine can be done with a mobile phone. -

The WWW is for me pretty much as important as computers. The ability to share anything with anyone anywhere in the world has helped education, health care and a lot of other stuff. Yes it has its bad sides, but I think the good are much larges -
