IB future projections

  • IB schools - 0% State and 100% Private

When the IB programm began it was adopted mostly by international private schools. Now with the continuing globalization Governments are realizing the need to update school systems to match this trend.
  • Opening of Washington DC (2010), The Hague (2011), Singapore (2012) and Cardiff (2016) IB Global Centres

  • The IB launches first-of-its-kind eAssessment for MYP students

  • IB launches eAssessment for Diploma students.

I'm surprised this hasn't happened already, especially due to Covid 19.
  • Opening of IB Global Centres on the Australian, South American and African continents.

This would seem a logical next step in the global spreading of the IB programm.
  • IB schools - 80% State and 20% Private

Schools worldwide need to become more internationally oriented while still rspecting their cultural identity.
