when the government was instituted everyone was in shock. They did not know what would happen because it was the first time religion was not involved in the government and this was rare as everyone was used to having religion involved. In that year a battle broke out between the people as some were angry at this change.
-
After the battle for a year there was peace. People were starting to get used to the switch. People realized that this was not a bad idea. they just had to get the hang of it. And soon enough everyone was getting a long.
-
for many years everything was good. here and there some incidents happened but nothing too large. then all of a sudden in a state there was news of civilians rioting against people in the government. they declared they were tired of this system and wanted religion instituted back.
-
oliver olls was the man who started everything. officials found out as word was spreading quickly of the incident. and sure enough some one knew. He did not like the new system from the beginning. he was angered at the change and never did he try to accept it.
-
it was days later when officials had found out about who oliver was. When they had all the information about him they came up with a plan to get him. it was not that hard as oliver had not thought everything through since he was captured in his home
-
although he had been captured, he had people who followed him. as the years had passed since the government system was instituted he had people continuing to follow him as they agreed with him. since it wasn't just him there continued to be more and more uprisings
-
the government knew that they could not arrest every single person but they knew that the leaders of the uprisings could, the main ones. so that is what the government did. people in political offices would form speeches and they`d talk to the people to try to reason
-
people realized that whether they agreed or not, whatever happened they would be treated the same way if they did agree with it. people who acted out were on trials and they saw that they were being treated the way the government said and they were having fair trials. so for one part people saw it was not all bad even though they had to see it through bad actions.
-
the government knew that they could not change everyone`s minds but they knew most people agreed with them. for that reason there were still on the look out if there were to be more things like that to happen. they knew there would probably be more but that is why they knew how to control it.
