    Frenchman Fourneaux invented the Player Piano or known as the Pianola. The Player Piano works on a pneumatic system where a vacuum is built up by pedals or an electric power. A paper roll is pulled over a metal bar with a row of holes in it. The Player Piano was also known for its looks.

    Thomas Edison invented the Phonograph in 1878 at the Menlo park lab. A piece of foil was wrapped around a lined cylinder in the middle. You would shout a short message into the one side of the Phonograph while turning the handle. Inside was a needle that would vibrate when you would talk. It would make a grroove

    The person who invented the first radio was Guglielmo Marcon. It was invented in Italy. How the radio worked! The radio wave traveled through the air like lightning. When the waves arrive at the receiver antenna it makes electron vibrations inside. It produces an electric current that recreates the original signal. The antennas were mostly always small.

    Invented by Bill Lear in 1964. The tape is wound around a hub in the middle. The tape itself is divided along its length into 8 channels or tracks. The tape plays two tracks at a time. A metal sensing strip connects the ends of the strip of the tape forming a loop.

    The inventor of the Walkman was Nobutoshi Kihara. The Walkman is a Sony brand. It was originally used for portable audio tape players. The Walkman is a small tape player with a pair of lightweight headphones. There are primarily two parts to any audio magnetic recording system. It is used as a storage spot and a recorder itself.

    Karlheinz Brandenburg invented the MP3 player. The MP3 player has a USB docking lead that hooks up to a computer. It save things like a hard dive or flash memory. The MP3 files could also be turned into music. It has a socket where you can plug your earphones in. The MP3 players are the smallest music players.

    Steve Jobs invented the iPod. The iPod can play all different kinds of music. The iPod has a place where you can put your earphones in. You can also listen to music without earphones too.

    Scott Forstall invented the iPhone. The iPhone is the most used to play music these days. There are still more phones being made. The iPhone has a toutch screen. You can get any kind of music. You could see that as the years go by the device got smaller.
