McDonald's Magazine Cover in 1965
For bringing more people in and wanting more customer sales, advertisements had to stand out. McDonald's did just that back in the mid-1960s with this magazine cover. Persuading people to come out and dine. It brought light to how fast change in Mcdonald's franchising was in the fast-food industry. Using vibrant colors and hinting at certain foods like "Hamburger" made sure people knew what Mcdonald's could do. Racism was still going on in this decade, so the advert doesn't show equality. -
McDonald's Magazine Cover in 1970
This was something different for McDonald's because, in recent adverts, there was hardly equality shown. This cover showed where McDonald's view stood and it really helped in the community. It is a very fun advertisement and they made sure everyone is getting served the same customer service care. It showed how different the culture was back in the day with different clothing and different cars. -

The popular logo made headlines in the 60s, but since then has been evolving time. With vibrant colors and a mascot of a clown to represent them, is continuing to make history. -
McDonald's Billboard in 2005
McDonald's advertisements got very creative in the future. The billboard's stand is the straw and the drink is on the billboard, signifying a person's thirst. It was a great way to get someone to go straight to McDonald's and order a drink or even get them to get a meal. -

This commercial was made in the United Kingdom. It features a family on Christmas with a little girl wanting to play reindeer with her sister. Later on, the dog is portrayed as the reindeer but they have been feeding it "reindeer food" which is carrots from McDonald's. The whole point is that they all end up together going to McDonald's like a family and having fun. For McDonald's, this showed how they are family-oriented.
